Congratulations to Team LBS – Jacqui and Mike – for succeeding at the BUPA Great Manchester 10K Run.

Jacqui, LBS CEO and Treasurer, who was running in memory of her Dad, declared: “What a fantastic day in Manchester, the sun was shining and 40,000 people raising funds and awareness for charities and causes that mean so much to them. Spectators cheered for everyone, not just their given charities. After 7K my legs felt like they had turned into bricks but I held the though that I was running for my dad and the people that continue to suffer from DLB and this helped me make it to the end. I had a time of 1 hour 30 mins which I am happy with as a feel like I am a winner for taking part.”

And the next day, she added: “My legs are aching so much this morning…but I want to do it all again next year”!
