The Lewy Body Society is a wholly independent UK charity. It is not a satellite of any other organisation. It is one of the 2 Anglophone Lewy body charities in the world, the other one being the Lewy Body Dementia Association in the USA. We shared a stand with the LBDA at the AAIC in Washington DC this past summer because the cost of exhibiting separately would have been prohibitive. We share information and when geographically appropriate, refer people to the other organisation but we are completely autonomous and separate from any other charity.
