Nurse or Allied Health Professional

Are you a nurse, allied health professional or researcher interested in joining our new Community of Practice for Lewy body dementia?

Would you like to connect with other professionals who support people with Lewy body dementia and their families?

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group of people who share a common concern, set of problems, or interest and come together to fulfil both individual and group goals.

The Lewy body dementia CoP operates in partnership with the Lewy Body Society.

Joining the Community of Practice will give you access to information, updates on webinars and virtual events and enable you to share best practice, and collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals and psychologists working in this area.

The Community of Practice is an opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative, virtual team working with people affected by Lewy body dementia.

At the centre of the community is a group of experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate professionals who provide support as a steering group for the CoP, in addition to their usual roles. These colleagues are keen to establish the community and maintain it as a thriving learning and development environment but need your help and support.

Together as a community, we aim to:
  • support professional development
  • develop and share resources, knowledge and good practice
  • raise awareness of Lewy body dementia outside the immediate Lewy body dementia community.
