International Lewy Body Dementia Conference 2022

The International Lewy Body Dementia Conference will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK from 15-17 June 2022.

This prestigious event brings together scientists from a wide range of disciplines, and previous meetings have been central to the development of LBD diagnosis and care. Research leaders from around the world have responded to the organisers’ invitation to assemble at what we expect to be an outstanding conference programme.

The website is now open for registration and abstract submission. There are Rising Star Awards for early career researchers (ECRs) and Poster Prizes for all abstracts, and the social programme is included in the registration cost to encourage interaction.

People living with dementia and carers are also encouraged to participate. The Lewy Body Society is leading an international committee to organise the ‘Living with Lewy’ strand of the conference with a bespoke programme, and also to ensure that the voices of people living with LBD and carers are featured in the main agenda.  Updates on the Living with Lewy strand will be posted on our own website and shared via this newsletter.

We look forward to seeing many of you in Newcastle next year!
