The Lewy Body Society stand attracted a lot of interest at this year’s UK Dementia Congress (30 October-1 November) at the Brighton Hilton Metropole, with a steady stream of visitors from leaders and opinion-formers in the sector to students of dementia studies. For some, this was their first contact with the society or even the first time they had heard of Lewy body dementias, for many others it was a chance to make plans for greater awareness-raising in the future. We already have several talks with nurses groups and others in the pipeline as a result of this year’s contacts.
