A Message from the Lewy Body Society’s Founder and Chair of the Trustees
My dear friend, Jacqui Cannon, who is CEO of the Lewy Body Society, is not one to blow her own trumpet so I happily will.

Jacqui is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She is good and kind and fantastically efficient. She has been a rock of the Society since its early days, taking on increasing responsibilities. When I had to step back for a while, I handed over the CEO’s Handbag of Office to Jacqui confident that she would be able to keep things running smoothly, which she has. In fact so much better than I ever did in that position that I have not resumed it.
On Sunday 10th May 2015 Jacqui will be entering the Manchester 10k for the third time. She says that she is not a natural runner but she has persevered and finished well each time. She runs on behalf of the LBS in memory of her beloved father, Joe, who sadly died in January 2010 after a long and valiant struggle with DLB.
Her goal this year is to raise £200. It’s not a lot of money and we have learned from people’s generosity in donating to the LBS in lieu of flowers at funerals, that small amounts soon add up.
Please support Jacqui in this year’s race. She deserves it. You can donate through her Just Giving page

And thank you all for your support of the Lewy Body Society. The more people who know, the fewer people who suffer.
