Researchers at UCL and across 25+ centres in the UK are investigating whether ondansetron, an anti-sickness medication, can help reduce hallucinations in people with Parkinson’s and Lewy body dementia over 12 weeks. The trial is funded by Parkinson’s UK.
If you have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s or Lewy body dementia and are experiencing visual hallucinations at least weekly that are having an impact on your life, then you are likely to be eligible to take part.
For more information about taking part in the trial, click on either the Parkinson’s UK or UCL link . If you would like to take part, please feel free to reach out to the trial manager Olga Zubko directly, who can put you in touch with your nearest recruiting site.
