Auction Extended!

December 4th, 2007

We have decided to extend the auction until midnight 07/12/2007. Remember, all you have to do is send your bids with lot number and maximum price to auction@lewybody.org putting “spotty auction” in the subject line.

HAPPY BIDDING

Auction Online: 25 November - 5 December

November 24th, 2007

Here it is, the first Lewy Body Society Auction of Spotty Things. Support the LBS by buying our unusual, fabulous “Lewy Body” merch for you to enjoy yourself or give to others.

EVERY PENNY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE LEWY BODY SOCIETY to support research and raise awareness of Lewy body disease. The items have all been donated to the Society.

It’s easy. This is not a tense, incremental, finger-poised-on-the-button auction. The highest bid on each item received by the closing time of midnight on 5 December will win it. Just decide on how much you are willing to spend and bid. In the case of more than one of the same highest bid, the winner will be the bid submitted earliest.

Download the auction catalogue here.

Winners will be notified by email.
Items will be shipped after payment is received.
Send your bids, with Lot number and maximum price, to:
auction@lewybody.org
putting: “Spotty auction” in the Subject line.
HAPPY BIDDING!

PS: If you have any problems viewing the catalogue you can right-click on it and then click on the option ’save as’ to save the file without opening it in your browser. If you encounter any problems please email webmaster@lewybody.org.

Previous Events

July 9th, 2007

There have been a few important events since the Lewy Body Society was founded, unfortunately when we changed the website they did not make the transition. This is a summary of all previous events:

The Lewy Body Society Fundraiser - June 2007

On Friday June 15, 2007 we celebrated our first birthday! The event took place at the Reform Club in London, UK. It was exceptionally well attended and we had guests from all over the world. Actress June Brown, better known as Dot in East Enders, was amongst the guests. We at the Lewy Body Society are very grateful to all the friends who shared the day with us.

The event was chronicled at Medical News Today.

St Alban’s 10k Fun Run - 10 June 2007

Tracy Lines

Round the Isle of Wight Bike Ride - 5-7 May 2007

Simon Bone and friends

London Marathon - 22 April, 2007

Bill Arnold

All together raised nearly £2500 by their heroic efforts on behalf of the Lewy Body Society. Bill’s father and Simon’s mother both died of DLB. Tracy’s father, who is herself disabled and did the entire course with the aid of crutches, unfortunately suffers from the disease.

New York Marathon - 5 November 2006

David Geist

Great Northern Run - 1st October 2006

Professor Ian McKeith, the Lewy Body Society’s own president raised £1000 for the Society.
