DOTTY AUCTION on line 20 November – 10 December 2008

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Back by popular demand and greatly improved! The Lewy Body Society’s Auction of Dotty Things, this year renamed in honour of LBS Patron, June Brown.

EVERY PENNY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE LEWY BODY SOCIETY to support research and raise awareness of Lewy body disease. The items have all been donated to the Society in memory of Harry Mangurian, who was a great benefactor and supporter of the charity and who sadly died in October 2008.

How to bid
It’s easy. Just decide on how much you are willing to spend and bid. The highest bid on each item received by the closing time of midnight on 10 December will win it. In the case of more than one of the same highest bid, the winner will be the bid submitted earliest.

LBS Stars

Monday, November 24th, 2008

For the second year, LBS stars Simon Bone and Jacqui Cannon have undertaken sponsored races on behalf of the charity. Simon and his friends again rode around the Isle of Wight for us over the early May Bank Holiday, raising approximately £700, including a generous donation from Simon’s employers, BIZERBA UK LTD. In September Jacqui and her friend, Julie McCourt, ran the Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge in Liverpool, raising approximately £570 for their efforts.
